save the arts

project /

the project objective was to design a series of posters and print ads for a nationally-recognized foundation.

client /

the client is save the arts, an organization created ensure that all children receive a well-rounded education which, naturally, includes the arts.

the main target we developed for this client was the young, urban, casually creative parent who knows (most of) the latest style trends, uses instagram, and is perhaps a bit of a cool kid, grownup. but at the core of it all, they are parents: ones who want what's best for their kids - but for themselves, too.

design /

the copy plays at simple parenting truths - that elementary homework can be anything but, another trip to the Emergency room is no on our to-do list, and that we want our kids to be able to experiment in the kitchen - so long as we don't have to eat more than a few bites.

the visuals are clean and simple, with bright pops of color - because it's for kids! while the contrast of black typeface on white creates a sleek, modern appeal - one we may just hang up on the wall.
